One of the pure joys of working on a film dub stage is the full expression of sub bass. Both the subwoofers, and the physical scale of the room mean the rerecording mixers and the audience experience bass unlike almost any home listening environment. Similarly large scale concerts and club environments also enable deep bass to be fully expressed. The physics of sound means there is no other way…
So this library, released on 808 Day – is a celebration of sub bass. Deep low frequencies that make air molecules dance in slow motion, and induces emotions ranging from excitement and exhileration through to fear and dread.
