Majetone have reduced the price of Truck Drums for this weekend only, now only £12.00, (usually £25.00).
Some of Majetone’s favourite libraries they’ve created have come from opportunities, not necessarily planned.
Majetone had a studio in a shed in an industrial yard…. (the yard!). Their neighbour had an old truck body that was rented out as workshop space.
When the old tenant moved out Majetone helped him clear some stuff out. Whilst in there, Majetone noticed the acoustics of the aluminium body and like all engineers they womdered how drums would sound great in the space’
So Majetone asked their landlord if they could record drums in there before the next tenant moved in, within a couple of days.
Because it was a busy and liyd industrial estate, Majetone have to record the library at night when there was silence as there was no soundproofing.
This has become a really popular library for its Bonham-esque huge drum sound!
Truck Drums requires a full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or later.
