Rhizomatic Update Synestia – Still Available To Pre-order

Rhizomatic Software Synthesis have updated Synestia which is still available to pre-order for $/€79.00, increasing to $/€119.00 upon its release. A stable beta of Synestia will be made available to pre-order customers.

What’s new in version 0.8.0:

Sidebands is a combined frequency shifter + feedback delay. The frequency shifter is located in the delay’s feedback path, so with every echo the modulation effect is multiplied. Sidebands goes far beyond the tonal capabilities of typical ring modulator/frequency shifters.

Similar to Dual Ladder and Echoes, Sidebands contains 2 shifter/delays which brings a lot of flexibility in a single module. And modulation pitch of the frequency shifters can be controlled via Midi notes (MPE and microtuning compatible of course).

Sidebands is great for classic ring modulation-type effects as well as Shepard tone phasers, constantly rising echos and much more. 12 new patches are included in the factory presets showing off some of Sidebands’ capabilities.

About Synestia

Synestia is an advanced multi-effect plugin for the utmost in creative sound processing. It combines 8 inspiring effects: physical-modeled resonators, filters, modulated delays, distortion and more.

Modulation lies at the heart of Synestia, generating complex rhythmic patterns and evolving atmospheric soundscapes. All parameters can be controlled by any combination of a wide range of dynamic modulators.

A flexible and unique approach to patching opens unexpected possibilities, and brings signal routing under the control of dynamic modulation.

Synestia has 8 different effect types. Many of Synestia’s effects are derived from Plasmonic, but they have all been improved and enhanced to expand their sonic character and capabilities.

All parameters in Synestia can be modulated by any combination of modulators. Modulators can be triggered rhythmically, freely looped, or triggered by audio input. Polarity, depth, inversion are all adjustable per-parameter, making modulation control very precise.

What does Synestia mean?

A Synestia is a hypothetical astronomical object. When two planets collide, the resulting mass of vaporized rock could form a vortex. This would ultimately settle down as a new and different planet and possibly a moon. Seems like an appropriate name for a massive sound-mangling plugin!

Synestia will be available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and AAX).
