Gentle Brass is a delicate and warm brass library.
Gentle Brass brings together some of the top musicians from the British brass banding scene in northern England, playing at their quietest dynamic to produce a warm and delicate tone.
Each instrument—Euphonium, Tenor Horn, Flugelhorn, Cornet, and Soprano Cornet—was recorded individually, then brought together in a seamless ensemble patch. Performed in the large hall of The Nave, this library offers three microphone positions, and like the previous libraries in our “Gentle” series, it includes an Atmosphere Layer- a processed version of the raw samples that expands the sonic possibilities of the instruments, making them suitable for a wide range of musical applications.
