RUINER makes adding character to your sound simple. We’ve curated 8 of our favourite go-to effects and combined them in one device, with singular knobs for each, so that you can delightfully degrade any signal with ease. From a light dusting to full harmonic overload, there’s just so much scope for ruin.
RUINER enables you to combine and apply 8 destruction effects to an incoming signal:
- Stutter – beat repeater where dial controls probability and rate of repeat.
- Granular – dial controls a custom-grain manipulation which increases in complexity.
- Compress – a punchy compressor, where dial controls threshold.
- Bit Crush – stepped control from 16 bits down to 8 bit.
- Harmonic Distortion – dial controls combination of dry/wet and drive.
- Overdrive – dial controls amount of modelled diode clipping.
- Tape – Dial controls combination of dry/wet and various degradation options of the tape model.
- Static – dial controls amount of combined static noise sources: originally-sourced analogue circuit noise and vinyl surface noise.
