Tom Wagner has released Indie Drums, available for $20.00.
As many of you know, David Hilowitz is a rock songwriter who produces his own songs. He can sing, be can play guitar or bass, but when it comes to playing a drum kit, he’s hopeless which is unfortunate because drums are one of the most important elements in any rock recording.
To get around this, David uses a variety of different drum samples, but, up until recently, he hasn’t been fully happy with anything he had at his disposal. He’s always on the hunt for the perfect indie rock drum sound, so he was very excited when he stumbled on Tom Wagner’s fantastic Instagram channel: both his playing and his kit sounded exactly like what he had been looking for. I immediately reached out and asked if he would be open to putting together a sample library.

- Each Hit was recorded with 3 velocity layers, 5 round robins
- Mapped according to the General MIDI standard
- All samples: 24-bit / 48 kHz high-resolution recordings
- Choose between 4 different alternate bass drum sounds
- Choose between 11 different snare sounds
- Choose between 2 different closed hat sounds
- Choose between 2 different sounds for floor toms 1 and 2, as well as rack tom 2
