Paul Driessen has released a new iOS public beta for the forthcoming update to PD Space Guitar Synthesizer. Please report any issues via TestFlight. There’s no confirmed release date.
What’s new in version 2.0.44:
- Added NAM Support – Now you can add the worlds best amp sims, straight into PD Space Guitar! Please note that a NAM playback costs equal or more CPU compared to the whole rest of SG… For you to get started, I added 4 captures, kindly provided by Tim Robertson (TImR on tonehunt). You can get much more from tonehunt.org!
- NAM, CabinetIR and ReverbIRs can now be updated for the plugin!
- 1) find nice IR wavs or NAMs on the netz
- 2) download them into the datafolder “PD Space Guitar” on your ios device.
- 3) Now run Space Guitar standalone once: this will update the wavs and nams for the plugin.
- 4) After that, any SG plugin will have the updated NAMs and IRs.
- Added higher samplerate compatibility Any samplerate higher than 48k will be automatically down and upsampled to comply with the rare individuals that want to run higher samplerates on their ipad/iphone.
- Pseudo stereo has been improved
- Important for getting the most of your amp, and now it is smoothed better so that you can dynamically alter the pseudo with a MIDI controller, LFO or ENV in remote. Very nice phased stereo wobbles can be achieved, which are kind of hidden in mono. 😉
- iOS 13 will become the lowest supported os version. Older ios devices will get stuck with the current App Store version.
PD Space Guitar Synthesizer 2 pimps up your guitartone with polyphonic saw and square-like waves, pitchshifting, modulation, filtering and much, much more!
The pitchshifter alone is allready worth the money, according to some of our users 😉
Instead of all the nostalgic tubeamp stuff, you can create new fresh sounds that can sound anything from really old fashioned to really futuristic.
The included effects:
- Polyphonic low latency Pitch Shifter (adjustable latency for different instrument/usage)
- Polyphonic waveshaper
- Polyphonic modulation
