Xperimenta Audio have released Grand’Organoz available at the intro price of £57.83 / €59.99, increasing to £75.00 / €79.89 after the promotion.
The Xperimenta Team, in collaboration with Luden Sound, is thrilled to introduce Grand’Organo, an extraordinary sampled Pipe Organ, based on a beautiful Mascioni (Opus 618) instrument and recorded in the heart of Rome.
We meticulously captured its unique registers, including the positive organ and pedal stops, along with an exclusive, world-first feature: all the 8 Crescendo layers expressible through the expression pedal. With a simple move of the modwheel, you can craft powerful crescendos and expressive sounds.
This remarkable instrument was recorded with three microphone positions (close, main and church room) using top-end microphones such as DPA, Schoeps, Neumann, and custom-made Braingasm, alongside with hand-crafted Argentini preamps. The result is a truly immersive and rich sound that brings the majesty of this iconic organ to your fingertips.
Xperimenta Audio sampled one of the finest pipe organs in Italy, a Mascioni opus 618, recorded at the Church of Santa Maria Mediatrice in Rome, using the most advanced sampling techniques.
Mascioni is an Italian company, founded in 1829, renowned for crafting high-quality pipe organs. One of the most famous organs built by Mascioni is the grand pipe organ in Milan’s Duomo, the largest in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. This monumental instrument, crafted with great precision, is renowned for its power, complexity, and rich tonal palette, making it a landmark in the world of organ building.
The opus 618 Organ features 55 stops across three manuals and pedal, meticulously sampled to capture the full richness of the instrument.
Grand’Organo requires a full version of Kontakt 6.6.1 or later.
