Alex Matheu has updated GlitchStep, currently available for $9.99.
What’s new in version 1.1.0:
- A New Way to Select Notes – Single-tap a knob when Notes mode is selected to display a note selection grid. Easily choose the note you want, with root and key notes bolded for clarity. Cancel selection with a simple tap on any knob.
- Step Lock Mode – Lock steps to prevent Randomization, Shuffle, Shift, and Transpose. Locked steps show a lock icon, and the knob text changes to the theme’s accent color. Copy and paste patterns with lock states intact, and clear locks by initializing the pattern.
- Ping Pong Sequence Direction – Introducing Ping Pong mode! Your sequences now play forward and then reverse, adding dynamic flow to your music.
- Long Press Actions on Edit Panel Buttons – Discover new functionalities with long press actions on buttons marked with a horizontal line.
- Mutate Pattern – Long press the randomize button to activate Mutate Pattern. This feature randomizes your current pattern at the start of each playback, keeping your music fresh and unpredictable.
- Transpose Up/Down Modes – Long press Shift buttons to switch between shifting and transposing. Transpose Up/Down transposes notes within the current scale or by octaves, perfect for dynamic musical variations.
- Randomization Range for Notes – Notes now adhere to the Randomization Range. Toggle the note icon from 3 notes to 1 note with a long press, ensuring notes fall within the desired range.
- Mutate Slice Pattern – Randomize your slice patterns with an algorithm for smooth runs. Long press to activate Mutate Slice Pattern, adding spontaneous variations each time your slice pattern plays.
