The Unfinished have released Omnisphere Colossus V, available for £58.99 + tax. There’s also a Deluxe edition with 56 extra patches created using the soundsources from the Bob Moog Tribute library, available for £69.99 + tax.
This is the fifth instalment in the series of Omnisphere soundsets geared towards modern, Hollywood action and underscore. It provides a diverse and extensive range of contemporary film, trailer, TV and game scoring sounds that deftly combine dynamic synth programming and sample manipulation.
It’s inspired by such titans of the genre as Harry Gregson-Williams, Henry Jackman, Lorne Balfe, Tyler Bates and David Buckley; inspired by car chases, fist fights, explosions; by espionage, betrayal and vengeance.
Utilising Omnisphere‘s expansive synth engine and sound sources, Colossus V equips you with a barrage of driving rhythms, pulsating sequences, tense atmospheres, fiery bass, scintillating sound effects and evocative textures; as well as a host of expressive synth sounds and inspiring instruments.
As well as continuing the series, Colossus V brings an added hint of the dystopian via an expanded range of analogue synth tones and distorted colours.
