Based on the Russian Polivoks from the 80s, the Cherry Audio Atomika takes the legendary sound and pushes it further with an abundance of dirt and grit. While the Atomika at its core is a rough and dirty synthesizer, it’s also capable of sounds of incredible organic beauty.
To capture the essence of the synth, the focus of this soundset was to explore The One Big Thing that makes Atomika so unique: its characteristic filter. It can sound raging & raw, but also dialled-down and even quite broken and random.
