Honest Overdrive is distortion effect. It’s a simple quality workhorse plug-in for general distortion needs.
Most overdrives effects work by boosting a signal until it’s clipped by a fixed distortion curve. Honest Overdrive uses the reverse approach. It increases the sensitivity of the distortion curve until it clips a fixed signal.
Features include:
- Adjustable clipping threshold
- Adjustable clipping hardness
- Oversampling
- A/B settings and paste
- Undo and redo
