EB-Dione is a plugin inspired by paulstretch, that lets you creatively manipulate and transform sound samples.
Features include:
- Sample Loading and Manipulation: Load any audio sample and extract a small portion. Tweak the spectrum and phase of this extracted portion.
- Spectral Shaping: Control the attack and decay of the spectral envelope, blur its phase, and shift the core frequency.
- Gating and Filtering: control shapes using the spectral envelope’s dynamics, while the high-pass and low-pass filters refine the overall sound.
- Workflow and Playback:
- Recording: Capture your sound manipulations with a built-in recorder.
- Playback Control: Play, loop, reverse, and control the playback speed of your processed audio.
- Blocksize Adjustment: Fine-tune the plugin’s processing by selecting from three different block sizes for the extracted audio.
- Position and Length Display: Keep track of the extraction point within the sample and the resulting length of the stretched audio.
- Advanced Features:
- OTT (Over-the-top) Compresison: An aggressive dynamic processor adds intensity and presence. Good for basses, trust me
- Live Mode and MIDI Control: Generate continuous audio output or use MIDI to control the pitch and shape of the spectral envelope.
- Tape Emulation: Add vintage character with a one-knob tape emulation effect that introduces noise, distortion, and warble.
