BlepFX Release Crunchrr – A FREE Download

BlepFX have released crunchrr, available as a ‘Name Your Price’ download, even FREE.

crunchrr is a really simple to use effect that adds digital artifacts to your sounds. It works by modulating a small fractional delay line at an audio rate at high frequency, resulting in a bit crush/sample divide/erosion kind of effect.

Features include:

  • Digital crunch – Add subtle digital bitcrush-like distortion to your sounds or turn them into a complete noisy mess
  • Modulator types – Choose from a variety of modulator types (noise, bandpassed noise, sine, square, triangle, saw) with a wide range of frequencies, from 0.1 Hz up to 22 kHz
  • Stereo width – crunchrr can create subtle stereo widening by offsetting the phases of the modulators for left and right channels, or you can make the modulators mono if you’d like
  • Simple to use – With just 5 parameters, crunchrr is extremely intuitive and simple to use
  • CPU friendly – crunchrr uses extremely optimized algorithms and therefore it is very light on your CPU
  • Minimal UI – Cute digital visualizer. Easy to navigate interface. Dark & light modes. Freely resizable :3

crunchrr is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and CLAP).
