Acoustic Dreamscapes’ downtempo sound is ideal for cinematic applications. The atmosphere conveys calm and space, but is often a little unsettling. Supported by e-bass, lower-tuned drums and e-piano, Acoustic Dreamscapes impressively underscores the changing realities of the most diverse dream worlds.
With 644 loops spread over almost 4.6 GB, each of the five construction kits has its own intros and outros as well as three different musical parts. Individual loops are up to 16 bars long (up to 50 seconds). The kits offer plenty of scope for creating extensive musical arrangements. As befits the style of music, the kits are dominated by slower tempos ranging from 40 (tagged as 80) to 84 BPM.
Each part is based on various phrases played on nylon and steel string acoustic guitars. All guitars are available together in each part as two pre-mixed stereo loops: the first version is processed with reverb, the second version with creative effects like slowdown, tapestop and other effects. Each guitar performance is also available individually as a microphone and DI version, so that you can create your own effects and mix. The electric bass provides a solid foundation for all parts and is included in three versions: amp, DI and creatively processed with various effects. With chords, the e-piano lays a warm basic sound under the other instruments. Premixed acoustic drum loops come in three versions: dry, with effects, and heavily processed.
Acoustic Dreamscapes is ideal for media composers who want to create a sense of movement, change, fantasy or melancholy. However, the library can also provide atmospheric elements for lounge, chillout or experimental pop productions. The slightly dark, mysterious sound of Acoustic Dreamscapes is a good complement to other Elastik titles such as Acoustic Space Fusion, Cinematic Guitar Loops or Space Guitar. Acoustic Dreamscapes is exactly the right choice for the musical soundscape of a diffuse dream world.
