Laurent Colson has updated StepPolyArp, currently available for $19.99.
What’s new in version 5.0:
- Custom scales
- Gate by event
- Velocity by event
- Mute by line
- A line can be scaled or not
- Each line has its own clock divider and can therefore be played at its own speed
- An event can be played on a specific cycle. For example, an event can be played on the first cycle, then on the third and fourth
- Random pitch by event
- Random gate by event
- Random velocity by event
- Randomization panel for generation of random patterns with a large number of parameters to control the result
- In addition to being able to force an arpeggiated event to a chord note position (1, 2, 3, etc.), it is now possible to choose the last or second last note
- Added a “reset” button, MIDI control and automation to reset all step positions to zero
- Transposition lines have now a range from -36 to +36 semitones
- Each line, controller, pattern can be colorized
- The value of a modified control is now displayed
- Fixed a sync issue with Logic
- Improved MIDI clock sync and Ableton Link accuracy
- Fixed a bug where the matrix grid would not display correctly when it was updated too quickly
- Fixed a bug where the state of the length marker link button was not preserved when the app was closed
