Native Instruments have released Claire: Avant, available for £89.00. Claire: Avant is the experimental sequel to the Claire grand piano – get both together at a special bundle price of £179.00.
Claire: Avant is an experimental Kontakt instrument offering unconventional piano textures recorded with the lid off, capturing whispers, echoes, and raw timbres unlike traditional piano plugins; it features nine unique articulations and preparations, including brushed textures, flageolet harmonics, and dampened una corda, responding with up to 13 velocity zones and three round robins.
The instrument utilizes the Particles engine to infuse notes with shimmering harmonics and dynamic elements, transforming simple key presses into evolving soundscapes, and includes over 40 custom presets for Kontakt’s Pattern Tool with randomization options for effortless idea generation.
With both close and room microphone setups that can be blended, along with controls for color, dynamics, reverb, and delay, Claire: Avant allows for extensive sound design and experimentation, making it suitable for film scores, experimental productions, and more; it seamlessly integrates with Native Instruments’ Kontrol S-Series keyboards for intuitive control.
