Wrongtools have announced the availability of a pre-order for Jasmine, available for €99.00, increasing to €198.00 upon its release. The offer ends March 11th.
Jasmine is a beautifully recorded string sample library featuring 12 violinists, designed for film, game, and orchestral scoring. Capturing delicate, various creative and unusual textures of a live string ensemble, it offers lush evolving articulations, dynamic movement, and multiple mic positions.
Jasmine’s fluid, organic liveliness makes it a superduper library for blending in with your string arrangements, and for making the top-range shine, or just to add some spice.
The library explores string timbres that we haven’t found in other sample libraries.
With the articulation switcher you’ll be able to layer different takes of pointilistic textures. So that for example, when the 12 violins play an “ad lib. river” of short flageolet notes, at random rhythms. You can add on to this – four times. Now with 12+12+12+12=48 violinists playing same note at random. The spaces in-between the notes disappear, and you get a more fluid, kinda special, sustained note instead.
