Following it’s recent release, Jan Maes has updated jAmp Percussive, available as a FREE download with an in-app purchase that activates full functionality, available for $7.99.
What’s new in version 1.1:
- Fix for Logic Pro on iPad.
- Added “double tap” to controls to reset parameters.
- Drum and cymbal tap buttons react on touch down (as opposed to touch up in v1.0).
- The active synthesizer (synth view) and active sequencer (sequencer view) are now coupled.
- Added some background coloring to the sequencer to indicate the beats and the active/inactive steps.
- Export all allows to export all presets to a zip file.
- Adaptive sensitivity for the knobs: vertical swiping for large changes, and horizontal swiping for much finer changes.
- Added cycle buttons to cycle through the presets.
- Drop down menu fix: you don’t have to tap the text to trigger the menu, but there is a larger region around the next now that will trigger the menu.
- Light theme: updated colors.
- Output busses: Fixed a bug + the output now contains the output signal without volume or panning changes.
- Long press on a pattern knob will open the pattern, but the sequencer will continue playing the previous pattern (when in manual mode).
- Level control per channel: now goes from -infinity to -64dB to +18dB for more control.
- MIDI signals fix: note on and off are now separated in time.
- “Pitch bend” and “Noise pitch” knobs switched places.
