Audible Genius have updated Primer 2 Synth, a subtractive synth for iOS, available as a FREE download.
What’s new in version 2.0.019:
- Introducing the new Famous Sounds Preset Library! Get Primer presets for iconic synth patches from the songs you love. Get quick access to the online library via the preset dropdown at the top left, or go directly to syntorial.com/presets via your browser.
- Added a public Primer 2 folder to import presets downloaded from the web via the Files app
- Improved Visualizer and Volume Meter performance and stability
- Various performance improvements, minor bug and crash fixes
- Added button to new “How To Use Primer” video.
- Presets are now saved with “.primer” extension
Primer is a synth equipped with the most essential controls and nothing more. Created by Audible Genius, it is an exact replica of the synth used in their award-winning synthesizer training app, Syntorial. As such, Primer contains the most common controls found on most subtractive/analogue synths, allowing for a wide variety of patches and sounds, while presenting a simple and easy-to-understand interface and layout.
Included with the Primer app is the AUV3 App Extension, allowing you to open multiple instances of Primer inside popular DAW apps like Garageband, Cubasis, and AudioBus.
