With its distinctively exotic sound, the electric sitar is a very special instrument. The sound is reminiscent of the Indian origins of the sitar, but in its electronic form it also has something very modern. From psychedelic rock to film soundtrack, Electric Sitar creates a very special musical atmosphere.
The library comprises 2.6 GB and more than 1600 loops and phrases. The content is divided into four main folders:
- 1st Electric Sitar (890 Loops)
- 2nd Percussion Kits (349 Loops)
- 3rd Electric Bass (142 Loops)
- 4th Live Session Kits (288 Loops)
The electric sitar works in a wide variety of musical contexts. To get started right away, this loop pack includes a wide range of suitable loops:
Percussion Kits – 17 large folders with percussion loops. These were recorded during a live rehearsal session with four musicians. The recordings were not quantified, so the organic vibe of the session was captured perfectly. The instruments include tablas, congas, bongos, frame drums, cymbals, tambourine and more. Additional electronic drum loops expand the possibilities.
Electric Bass – more than 70 electric bass phrases in the same folder structure as the electric guitar. This makes it very easy to find the right bass for your sitar performance. All phrases are available as amp and DI versions.
Live Session Kits – another live rehearsal session with four musicians, but this time in addition to percussion with tonal instruments such as acoustic guitar, flute and sitar. Here, too, the folder structure of the e-sitar follows, so that suitable loops can be found quickly. Of course, the extensive material can also be used without the electric sitar. The Live Rehearsal Session Vibe provides the perfect basis for meditative New Age productions.
Whether as a tribute to the 60s, as an exotic element in a film score or as a crossover in modern house, hip hop or techno productions – the sound of Electric Sitar is always unmistakable.
