ADSR Offer 75% Off H949 Harmonizer

ADSR are offering 75% off the H949 Harmonizer by Eventide for a limited time, now only $49.00, (usually $199.00). The offer ends June 1st.

Building on the legacy of the H910 pitch shifter, the H949 Harmonizer® was Eventide’s first de-glitched pitch-shifter. Produced from 1979–1984, it introduced the MicroPitch effect, which used a proprietary single-sideband modulation technique for precise control of small pitch shifts. The H949 also offered unique flange, reverse, and randomized pitching effects.

The same legendary effects processor used by Jimmy Page and cherished by Suzanne Ciani has been faithfully recreated as a full-featured plug-in. Designed to inspire a new world of sound—from basic engineering and sound sculpting tasks to demonic space creations, robotic distortions, and more—the H949 is a comprehensive special effects tool.

The H949 algorithm uses a proprietary auto-correlation algorithm to make intelligent splicing decisions. Users can choose a simple cross-fade algorithm, resulting in characteristic glitching, or opt for the de-glitched mode for smoother transitions. This flexibility allows for a wide range of creative possibilities, from subtle pitch adjustments to extreme effects.

This native plug-in version includes the H949 Dual, which recreates the popular technique of running two units in parallel. This setup is ideal for creating lush doubling, stereo widening, and simultaneous shifting of pitch up and down, offering a rich and expansive sound.

Features include:

  • MicroPitch mode for authentic double-tracking emulation
  • Reverse mode for time-reversed playback with pitch control
  • Repeat function combining time-reverse and pitch-change
  • Flange effect for classic sweeping modulation
  • Random mode introducing slight variable delays for natural doubling
  • H949 Dual for parallel processing and enhanced stereo effects
  • Intuitive “old-school” user interface for easy control
  • Compatible with major DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, and Reaper

The H949 Harmonizer is available to PC and Mac users (VSt2, VSt3, AU and AAX) and requires an iLok account.
