Loopmasters and Loopcloud have announced the recent addition of Lexicon Avenue – Underground Progressive by Samplestate.
Samplestate is delighted to present its latest artist pack from one of the true pioneers of the underground electronic music scene, Chris Scott aka Lexicon Avenue.
His productions and remixes under several aliases have featured on many of the best, and most revered major and independent labels, with many of his vinyl releases still very much in demand and commanding eye watering figures on resale sites such as Discogs.
Samplestate is proud to present his first ever sample pack, a detailed and expansive collection that showcases the Lexicon Avenue signature sound.
Without compromising his underground credibility, Chris has accolades that include top 10 national chart success, with no less than 4 tracks also reaching the top 30. Remix accolades include everyone from Depeche Mode to Danny Tenaglia, and with his productions being championed by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman et al there’s no doubt of how highly regarded he is within Progressive House music.
Major labels such as – Virgin, Island, Mute, Warner Bros and Mercury to name a few, and, a ‘who’s who’ of the most influential underground labels such as Deconstruction, Yoshitoshi, Renaissance, Hooj Choons, Global Underground, SAW Recordings, Stereo, Audio Therapy, Junior Boys Own, NRK and Plastica along with his co-owned label, the seminal Forensic Records have all made homes for his talents.
The relaunch of his label Forensic Records has been a huge success with repeated number one spots on Beatport, plus a new vinyl series of Forensic classics revisiting the Forensic catalogue with fresh new remixes is all due for imminent release later this year.
With his productions and international DJ career continuing to take him to some of the worlds greatest clubs in every corner of the globe It’s fair to say that Chris has always been at the forefront of this electronic music movement we love.
This pack has allowed Chris to truly craft a sample product that not only showcases his talents in the studio but also provide access to his trademark sound in an inspiring and usable format.
