Plughugger Release Abstract Techno – For Pigments

Plughuhher have released Abstract Techno, available for €9.90, increasing to €29.90 after the promotion. Use code ABSTRACT at the checkout to claim the deal. The offer ends June 15th.

Abstract Techno for Arturia Pigments is a collection of deep techno sounds—where hypnotic minimalism meets cinematic textures, wrapped in the pulsating energy of rave culture.

To create this sound library, Plughugger blended gritty analog tones from classic synths with rave stabs, detuned pads, and experimental textures recorded from obscure FM synthesizers and boutique digital gear. All sounds were then sculpted and brought to life within the powerful engine of Arturia Pigments—leveraging its granular synthesis, sample engine, and the Modal Engine (new in version 6) to add movement, tension, and space.

For the cinematic edge, Plughugger created evolving drones and dissonant ambiences—perfect for building suspenseful intros or immersive breakdowns.

This library is aimed at producers of deep techno, cinematic techno, minimal, and experimental club music, but it also finds a home in ambient techno, leftfield, and modular-style productions.

As a bonus, Plughugger added a handful of 909 drum sounds (recorded from a real TR909) sampled through an Emu EMAX hardware sampler for that original crunchy feel.

Abstract Techno requires Pigments (not included).
