LoopToGo Studio has just released version 3.0 of LoopToGo, its unique software designed for pre-programmed looping—also known as pedal-free looping. Built for solo performers who want to focus on the music instead of footwork, LoopToGo enables complex, structured live performances without relying on traditional hardware loopers.
Unlike standard loop pedals, LoopToGo allows full control over song structure, transitions, layers, and effects through automation and scripting. Version 2.0 introduced a powerful scripting engine that let users deeply customize their performances.
Now, version 3.0 brings the next major leap forward with the introduction of Interfaces.
Interfaces are QML-based graphical panels that simplify the use and sharing of scripts, commands, and shortcuts. They make powerful features more accessible to musicians by replacing abstract scripting with intuitive buttons, visuals, and layouts. Many Interfaces are already included with the software—some emulate popular hardware loopers, others are designed to simplify song creation or live control.
Most importantly, Scripts and Interfaces can be created by users. Simple ones can be made by anyone with minimal technical knowledge. More complex tools might require basic scripting or design skills—but LoopToGo Studio is always happy to assist. Whether that means offering guidance or developing custom Scripts or Interfaces upon request, the goal is to help musicians shape LoopToGo to fit their unique workflow.
