The free Ambient Reverb 7 plugin is more than just a reverb. Controlling it via a MIDI controller, you can get a simply fantastic sound. It is based on the principle of high-quality algorithmic reverberation with the calculation of sufficiently dense sound reflections in time, which allows you to get a realistic reverb without the granulation effect.
Ambient Reverb is primarily designed to work with ambient sound material, although it can be successfully applied to other musical styles and directions. A distinctive feature of the plugin is a wide range of reverberation time (up to 100 seconds), which allows you to get different types of reverberation in nature, as well as the ability to literally freeze sounds, while getting interesting sound pads like Frippertronics. The reverb allows you to get a natural stereo reverberation, which takes into account the location of sound sources in space, in accordance with which the reverberation signal is formed.
The fresh 7th version adds the ability to smoothly adjust the “Size” parameter, and also adds modulation of the delay lines from the ultra-low frequency generator (LFO). Another feature of the new version is the division of the input signal into mid and side components, allowing you to select one of these components in the required proportion using the “Split” parameter for reverberation processing, as well as preliminary panning. These functions are undoubtedly important in professional work with sound.
