Darkplace Studio have updated Butterfly, available for €20.00.

What’s new in version 1.1.0:

  • Spread EQ Patterns – Get more out of the SpreadEQ with the new pattern stacking feature allowing you to change the filter ordering!
  • Adjustable Filter Q – Need that extra bump? Now you can with an adjustable Q-Factor for the 12dB and 24dB filters!
  • Preset Grouping – Laid the groundwork for grouping presets together, time to start making those preset packs!
  • Various Bugfixes – Managed to locate a few bugs and squished them right out making the plugin more reliable!

Butterfly is a stereo mixing utility that includes features like Spread EQ, upward compression, delay controls, and oversampling to enhance audio mixing and sound design.

Core Features include:

  • Spread EQ: Enhances stereo width without compromising mono images.
  • Upwards Compression: Amplifies softer parts of audio instead of traditional compression.
  • Finetuned Delay: Offers Mid/Side and Left/Right delay options for creative effects.
  • Oversampling: Supports up to 4X oversampling to reduce aliasing artifacts.
  • Custom Controls: Provides extensive control options like delta/difference, dry/wet mix, bypass, and polarity switching.
  • User-Friendly Design: Plugins are rendered using GPU (via OpenGL), are resizable, responsive, and allow users to customize themes and settings through a JSON config file.
