Ewan Bristow Releases Halica – Granular Synthesis

Ewan Bristow has released Halica, available at the Early Bird price of $13.82, increasing to $20.62 after the promotion. Use code EARLY-BIRD-HALICA at the checkout to claim the deal.

Halica is a real-time particle playground.

Every particle’s position is calculated in real-time, with minimal CPU impact. Mass, air resistance and max speed can be controlled, equating to grain density and other “typical” granular controls.

Halica is equipped with 6 effects, ranging from spectral resynthesis/filtering, to delays and luxurious reverbs. You’ll be playing with this thing for hours.

What’s better than real-time particles? Ones that you can control with your mind. Using Web-MIDI and MediaPipe, you can control this thing with your hands.

The included packs:

  • Luminescent Shards
  • Globular Clusters

Halica is one Plugdata patch capable of running as a VST3, AU, CLAP and LV2.
