Soundtheory Release Kraftur Focus + Other Deals

Soundtheory is excited to announce a new edition of Kraftur, which they’re calling Kraftur Focus. Kraftur is currently available for $69.30, (usually $99.00). If you already own Kraftur, simply download the latest installer and you’ll have access to both editions. There are deals on other Soundtheory products too. The offers end July 17th.

Soundtheory developed Kraftur Focus in response to users who asked for phase compensation. Kraftur Focus involves a hybrid approach, realigning the phase with the input after the saturation stage. As a result Kraftur Focus can be used for parallel processing, allowing it to be used as a send effect.

There’s also two new features in Kraftur and Kraftur Focus:

  • The Stats panel. In both Kraftur and Kraftur Focus, you can click above the main display to view a wide range of statistics including RMS, peak, and peak hold values of both input and output signals in addition to the crest factor reduction.
  • The virtual Single Band Shift. It’s now also possible to emulate a band shift for single band processing by dragging on the single band’s transfer curve.

Kraftur has been carefully engineered to enrich your mix, allowing you to increase power while preserving the original integrity of its dynamics. Using new, proprietary DSP methods, Kraftur relies on innovative algorithms to avoid artifacts that come with more traditional approaches to soft clipping. Kraftur can also add clarity, punch or pleasant warmth to almost any audio material.

Used on the mix bus, Kraftur helps increase the power of the signal while containing the signal peaks. It can excite the top end to introduce more detail, depth and crispness.

On individual mix elements such as vocals, drums or strings Kraftur is very effective for adding frequency-specific saturation while maintaining the quality and dynamics of the original material. You can add extra punch to your drums, add more presence to your vocals and add clarity to your strings.

When driven harder, Kraftur can also sculpt your sound by inducing pleasant distortion to create some unique colors, warmth and space.

Kraftur makes your audio sound fuller and denser.

Kraftur And Karftur Focus are available to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3, AU and AAX).
