JimAudio have updated Groove Rider 2, available to download, available for $34.99.
What’s new in version 1.2.4:
- Added Acid Riff Generator (ported from the JimAudio Pure Acid app), accessible from Clip Editor, Melodic Parts only. You can select Scale, Key, Octaves range and one from 6 available generator modes
- Added Legato setting for the internal synth/sampler/wt/sf2, located on the lower end of the POLYPHONY knob in synth’s settings. When set to Legato, a synth will get 1 voice polyphony and slide from one pitch to another, when notes overlap, using GLIDE knob’s value. This is especially useful when playing 303-style note slides
- Added new Pitch Delay IFX, in 4 combinations (mono/stereo, bpm/free). It is combines Delay effect with Pitch Shifter, where every next repeat is being shifted up or down
- Added One Tap Delay IFX, which adds one single repeat to the original sound with adjustable Pan, Time delay and Mix
- Stereo Width IFX: added new Balance knob, which adjusts panning of the stereo-Side channel
- Added mono versions of Chorus and Flanger effects
- STEPS pad mode improvement: you can now write automation per step by holding a step pad (or even several) and simultaneously moving a parameter knob on the Sound page. This method can also be used with AUv3 instruments
- Added one more “Parallel Special 3” setting to the MFX routing on the FX Buses page
- Crash fixed when creating a new folder in the empty user presets tab in the Browser
- Fixed: some LFO timings (3/8, 3/16) were performing incorrectly
- Added a solution which can prevent issue with partial UI freezing after using certain AUv3’s. However, if the issue still persists, you can now tap the Stop button to clear touches cache and unfreeze the UI
- Added a new keyboard shortcut CMD+M to toggle Metronome Click On/Off
- Other minor bug fixes

Timeline based song mode editor allows you to arrange and edit midi clips in a professional DAW manner. Record and edit parameters automation. Copy, paste, duplicate clips as well as entire time ranges. Export & share your compositions.

- Process with built-in realtime insert effects, 3 IFX per part
- Tweak sound with 3-band EQ with visual controls
- Improvise with MFX (master effects) with onscreen XY controls, 3 MFX per pattern
- Add depth using 2 Send / Return FX busses with up to 3 effect slots in each bus
- Resample what you hear and edit right in place in the built-in Sample Editor
- Save your own presets and drum sets with audio previews for further use in other compositions

- Seamless integration with JimAudio Poison-202 and Pure Acid apps allows to use their integrated modules with sounds and presets without actually loading them as AUv3 audio units, which saves system resources and speeds up pattern loading process!
