Simon Alexander has updated PulseRipper, currently available for $9.99.
What’s new in version 1.0.6:
- This update fixes a couple of really annoying and functionally compromising issues after the most recent system update. I completely rewrote a deeper signal detection system for stability and resolved another issue that was causing an undesirable static sounding artifact. Those were all fixed and now PulseRipper is better than ever. In fact, you can really push things into wild territory by stacking and ramping up multiple PulseRipper instances on a single track.
- Since Simon was primarily working on the LFO system, he decided to make the Tempo Sync time signature options more robust. This is really great for musicians working in lots of different genres, but it will cause a small issue with current presets:
- All of your current presets will convert properly through the update, however, if you have any presets that are using Tempo Sync, then you will need to change the time signature to your preference and then write over your old preset by saving the preset with the exact same name as your original. There is no need to delete the old preset. All user presets that don’t use Tempo Sync will be the same as they were in previous versions. This won’t be an issue going forward and only affects a small % of user presets. All other knob values that you saved will be correct since this only affects the Tempo Sync’s time signatures.
