Mel-Lofi is a free mellotron plugin emulation designed for digital audio workstations (DAWs) on Windows and macOS. This ROMpler instrument captures the lo-fi charm and vintage sound of the iconic instrument, perfect for adding texture and nostalgia to your tracks.
Mel-Lofi offers 24 multi-sampled presets distributed across 5 main instrument categories. Each preset retains the raw and vintage feel of the original Mellotron, delivering sounds with subtle imperfections that add character to your music. The samples are carefully looped for smooth playability while maintaining that authentic, rough edge.
All sounds in Mel-Lofi are 100% royalty-free, allowing you to use them in your commercial and personal projects. The user-friendly interface makes it simple to integrate into your workflow and start creating lo-fi melodies right away.
