Reflex Acoustics have released Reflex Digital Warmer, available for $15.00.
Reflex Digital Warmer gently adds harmonic richness to your signal via a bespoke waveshaping algorithm that can help things to sound clearer and more glued together.
The effect does not have user-adjustable drive or make-up gain controls; instead these parameters are managed internally, with the goal of staying in the sweet spot of the device’s distortion transfer curve and maintaining equal loudness.
This allows you to deploy the device quickly: it starts working while still on its default settings, and it automatically stays calibrated even as your material gets louder and quieter.
Features include:
- Automatic input drive keeps the processing engaged regardless of input level
- Automatic make-up gain targeting neutral LUFS impact
- Parallel processing via gain-matched dry/wet Mix control
- Selective oversampling if project sample rate is below 120kHz
