2275 is a time-spanning, forward thinking soundset for Omnisphere 2, featuring 250 Presets for Omnisphere 2 and 20 Multis created by Echo Season (Peter Brefini).
Dive into an inspiring and rewarding set of sounds that traces the periphery of Ambient, Psybient, IDM, Berlin School and Dub Techno.
The intent of the set is to provide an accessible and deeply enriching toolkit where a variety of sounds can be used interchangeably. Each preset has been carefully considered within the broader context to emphasize fluid versatility.
There are a large amount of inspiring arps and sequences – which fit like a glove around a trove of immersive ambient soundscapes and pads. Ranging from soft and subdued to warm and lush – these pads bring depth, life and texture for your arrangement. A plethora of plucks and medium-to-long attack leads have been creatively designed with nuance and character in mind. Basses span from earth-shaking to juicy and resonant to mid-range ear-candy.
You will find any glitchy drum loops and individual percussive hits, giving you quick access to kicks, hats, snares and organic foley elements. Dub stabs and chords with bouncing delays also make an appearance and layer nicely over deep grooves. You will also find serene keys, bit-crushed bells, vintage poly synths and versatile transition effects to liven things up further.
Last but not least, 2275 includes 20 unique Multis, which are full drum grooves ranging from abstract Ambient to deep immersive Dub Techno, vibrant Electro, and glitchy Psybient. These drum grooves function like malleable loops – use them whole or in part – whatever suits your needs.
Influenced by the new generation of electronic ambient artists, 2275 seeks to honor the craft of those that currently work within this broad genre and those whose legacy continues to endure and inspire into the future. As always, every preset has dynamic velocity, modwheel and aftertouch assignments.
