Noisebud have releases Leaky4, available for $30.00 or via Patreon.
What’s new in Leaky4:
- Phase Rotation – Rotate the phase of the leak up to 360°. This is huge: you can now leak material without killing the destination with phase cancellation.
- Anti-Flutter – A transient smoother that tames that nasty flutter-echo effect when pushing Leaky with delay. Keeps your transients clean and centered while still widening and smearing tails.
- Replace Destination – A brand new method that removes the filtered part only in the chosen destination channel and replaces it with your leak.
- Better filter control – Now you can clearly define which frequencies the leak should consist of using the filter section or the spectrum display.
- Improved routing – You can now use Delta and Bypass even while previewing Left, Right, Sum, or Difference via the “Listen” buttons. Much easier to compare mid/side or L/R adjustments.
Leaky has always been one of those tools that can completely change how you work with stereo material. It lets you “leak” a selected part of the spectrum from Left, Right, Sum, or Difference into another channel, which is incredibly powerful for fixing phase problems, rebalancing stereo images, or doing weird creative things you’d never expect in a mastering plugin.
It also happens to be one of Noisebud’s most popular plugins, which makes me extra happy to bring you this big new update.
Leaky has always been designed with mastering in mind, but I’ve seen people use it in all sorts of creative ways during mixing and post-production. This update makes it even more flexible and powerful.
Leaky4 is available to PC and Mac users (VST3 and AU).
