Orchestral Tools Cetra is a virtual instrument collection featuring a diverse range of fretted string instruments from Western European folk and classical traditions, including lutes, guitars, mandolins, and more.
The instruments, many from Richard Harvey’s private collection, offer detailed articulations, multiple mic positions, and automatic release sample selection for enhanced playability and realism.
Cetra captures the unique character of each instrument, excelling in softer registers and providing distinct sounds suitable for various musical contexts, from contemporary settings to medieval fantasy.
The collection includes instruments like the Mandolin, Baroque mandolin, Alto mandola, Irish bouzouki, Mandocello, Lute, Theorbo, Cittern, Vintage acoustic guitar, and Tenor guitars.
Created in collaboration with composer Richard Harvey, Cetra is designed to complement the compositional workflow, offering features like mic merging, auto keyswitch options, and easy remapping tools within the SINE player.
