Wrongtools Release Pianotron

Wrongtools have released Pianotron, available at the intro price of €17.00, increasing to €28.00 after the promotion. Use code FALL40 at the checkout to claim the deal.

The Pianotron is a Kontakt library featuring the unique sound of the Selmer Pianotron, an electromechanical electric piano produced in East Germany during the Cold War.

The Selmer Pianotron, also known as the Weltmeister Claviset, was the only electric piano manufactured in East Germany and was difficult to obtain in the West until the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The library includes over 2500 samples and is 1.8 GB in size, offering the Pianotron’s characteristic clunky, charming, and plucky sounds, along with additional articulations and mechanical noises.

Watch the Playthrough/demo video HERE.

Pianotron requires a full version of Kontakt 6.4.2 or later.
