Rhodes have released Vari-Amp, available at the intro price of $89.95, increasing to $124.95 after the promotion.
Rhodes Vari-Amp is a new character plugin designed to add warmth, soul, and analogue colour to various sound sources, suitable for keyboardists, guitarists, producers, and instrumentalists.
The plugin features a dual-module architecture with six iconic Rhodes preamps, each modeled after classic pianos with unique EQ and harmonic responses, and a three-mode Drive circuit for subtle warmth to dynamic distortion.
It also includes a selection of eight classic and modern amplifiers and eight microphones, allowing for continuous blending with dry signals and preamp tones to create limitless tonal combinations.
Vari-Amp offers a versatile compressor with parallel mix and flexible routing, along with a global EQ and reverb module for final tonal refinement and ambience.
The plugin provides precise control over dynamics and allows for nuanced tonal sculpting through its continuously variable wet/dry mix controls in both the preamp and Amp/Mic sections.
