Toontrack have released The Infinity Grid, available for $89.00.
The Infinity Grid EZX is a new sound expansion for Toontrack’s EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3, specifically designed for modern and progressive metal music.
It features three distinct drum kits, meticulously recorded by engineer Steve Blackmon at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, capturing a dark, massive, and articulate sound.
The expansion was developed in collaboration with Jay Postones of TesseracT, aiming to deliver the dynamic range and crushing authority he achieves in his playing.
Included are a total of five kicks, ten snares, 15 toms, 22 cymbals, and two hi-hats, providing a wide sonic palette for producers.
Engineered by Steve Blackmon and Acle Kahney of TesseracT, the EZX includes mix-ready presets with layered samples for enhanced attack and depth, alongside original mix presets for a raw sound.
A collection of MIDI grooves and fills performed by Jay Postones is also provided, offering a foundation for building progressive metal drum tracks.
The Infinity Grid requires EZdrummer 3 or Superior Drummer 3 (not included).
