Killihu Release EPC Devices – For Ableton Live

Killihu have released EPC Devices, available via subscription.

EPC Devices are a suite of Max for Live tools designed to integrate VST plugins seamlessly into Ableton Live, allowing users to control them directly from the track’s effects section without constant use of floating windows, thereby improving workflow efficiency.

These devices ensure perfect communication between VST plugins and the DAW by not encapsulating the VSTs, preserving critical data like latency reports and export mode status.

EPC Devices meticulously replicate VST plugin controls through reverse engineering, offering identical behavior, value display, manual input, and curve replication for an intuitive user experience that matches Live’s native devices.

The graphical interfaces are designed to aesthetically match Ableton Live’s devices, providing intuitive control and full compatibility with automation and external MIDI controllers, including the VST plugin’s activator button.

EPC Devices offer enhanced usability with Push 3 support, displaying native-style controls and logically organized parameter banks, and also allow for VST preset changes through a temporary release of exclusive control, with presets provided for immediate use in Live 12.
