MicroWaveConverter is designed to convert single wave cycles from WAV files into MIDI SysEx User Wavetable files for the Waldorf Microwave 1 synthesizer (firmware revision 1.2 or higher).
The MicroWaveConverter, available only for Microsoft Windows, allows users to select a WAV file, specify the number of samples per wave cycle, choose the target User Wavetable and Wave numbers on the Microwave, and then generates a SysEx file that can be sent to the hardware or the Microwave 1 plugin.
Users are instructed to provide their own WAV file containing wave cycles, ensure they have the necessary Waldorf Microwave 1 hardware or plugin, and possess software capable of sending MIDI SysEx data, with the tool automatically naming the output file and creating 61 waves through cubic interpolation, regardless of the input WAV’s cycle count.
