Tension is a high-performance character clipping engine, exclusive to Windows, designed to redefine audio weight by sculpting waveforms rather than just capping signals.
It integrates three distinct processing topologies: Precision ADAA Saturation for smooth loudness, Transient Snapping (‘Pulse’) for sharp impact, and Harmonic Wavefolding (‘Fold’) for metallic textures.
The plugin features ‘Weave’ for tonal tilting, ‘Age’ and ‘Character’ for analog warmth and growl, and a ‘Focus’ knob to direct clipping to specific frequency ranges, all while utilizing a ‘Deep Fix Architecture’ with 4x Oversampling and Smart Auto-Gain for alias-free, balanced output.
Tension is available to Windows users (VST3).
