Rast Sound have released a plugin version of their World Vocals 5 library (preciously Kontakt only), available at the intro price of €99.00, increasing to €199.00 after the promotion.
From African chants to Persian melodies, Balkan harmonies to Indian ragas — voices that once required Kontakt now live in Rast Sound’s own engine, with capabilities they’ve always dreamed of.
World Vocals 5 celebrates 10 years of authentic vocal recordings, now powered by a new, custom-built dual-layer engine that offers advanced features like BPM sync, spectral morphing, and 15 creative transforms, allowing users to blend and manipulate vocal sources from five continents.
This comprehensive vocal instrument includes 11 distinct libraries, encompassing a wide range of global vocal traditions from African chants and Persian melodies to Balkan harmonies and Indian ragas, all playable without the need for Kontakt.
The engine is designed to transform static recordings into dynamic performances with features such as dual-layering for mixing different voices, pitch-independent time stretching for tempo synchronization, and length locking for rhythmic precision.
Users can further sculpt vocal sounds using 15 one-click convolution presets, randomization controls for organic variation, and four distinct character modes (Neutr, Silk, Dark, Edgy) to instantly alter the sonic signature.
