Techivation M-EQ is a new adaptive linear phase equalizer plugin that utilizes three intelligent “Smart Curves” to dynamically adjust audio frequencies, offering surgical precision with broad musical strokes.
Unlike traditional EQs, M-EQ’s Smart Curves allow users to define broad frequency ranges, and the plugin automatically targets and adjusts specific frequencies within those ranges, boosting what’s missing and cutting what’s excessive.
The Mix Assistant feature analyzes a 3.5-second audio signal to provide an instant, professional tonal balance foundation, serving as a starting point for further adjustments or a quick enhancement.
Each of the three Smart Bands (Low, Mid, High) features Per-Band Gain, Smart Curve, Frequency Range, Saturation, Stereo Balance, Solo, and Bypass controls, offering granular control over the equalization process.
Per-band saturation allows for adding harmonic warmth and color, ranging from subtle thickening to driven overdrive, with a global Saturation Character control to define the overall style and intensity.
M-EQ includes low-cut and high-cut filters for cleaning up unwanted frequencies and a Spectrum Visualiser that displays real-time spectral adjustments and base shape curves.
