Audiofier have released Acorn, a new instrument series, each available for $25.00.
Audiofier Acorn is the entry point into Audiofier’s sound world — a platform created to make our cinematic textures, ambient instruments, and creative tools available to everyone, without the restrictions of paid sampler ecosystems.
The name Acorn reflects exactly what this platform represents: a beginning. An acorn is small, but it carries everything needed to grow into something vast and full of life. In the same way, Acorn offers the essential seeds of the Audiofier experience — accessible, unrestricted, self-contained — giving every creator a true starting point. It symbolises origin, potential, and the freedom to expand, making Acorn the perfect foundation for a sound universe that can grow in any direction.
The Acorn series grows from two roots. First, it carries a selection of sounds from Audiofier’s legacy Kontakt instruments—carefully curated and re-imagined inside the Acorn ecosystem—giving new users a chance to experience the character, tone, and storytelling of libraries they may have never owned. These are not reduced versions, but rediscoveries: the same spirit, reshaped for a free and open platform.
Alongside them, Acorn also delivers entirely original packs built from new recordings, fresh performances, and experimental sound design sessions. Together, these two branches let the Acorn series offer both heritage and invention: a taste of where Audiofier has been, and a promise of where it can go next—bringing inspiration to newcomers and long-time users alike.

Acorn – Alloy
ALLOY brings together curated sound sources from VEEVUM SYNC Carbon, Silver, and Gold — blended into a single, expressive Soundbox pack, from gritty pulses to airy sparkles to organic motion, giving you momentum, colour, and texture in a single unified tool.
Acorn – ArcoTone
Featuring violins, violas, cello, bowed zithers, bowed guzheng, bowed guitars, and more, ARCOTONE captures imperfection, pressure and fragility — the raw tension of bow hair against string, breaking tones, pitch bends, and unpredictable textures.
Acorn – Caelum
CAELUM brings the character of Veevum’s Astra, Terra, and Luna sound sources into the Soundbox environment. Caelum focuses entirely on their natural timbre: organic acoustic tones, gritty hybrid atmospheres, and slowly evolving textures.
Acorn – Fracture
FRACTURE is built from rich, modulated, hybrid synth sources designed for cinematic and atmospheric music and shaped from evolving wavetable-based textures, gritty surfaces, nonlinear motion, and synthetic timbres that shift and warp over time.
Acorn – GroundTone
GROUNDTONE begins with deep, hybrid, designed drones — complex sound sources already rich with internal movement. Each drone is crafted from processed synthetic materials, shaped for depth, weight, and immersive low-end energy.
Acorn – KeyTone
KEYTONE is a piano-centred cinematic sound palette designed for atmosphere, restraint, and emotional clarity. It is a tone-driven instrument for film, documentary, and minimal storytelling, where simplicity speaks louder than complexity.
Acorn – SottoVoce
SOTTOVOCE is a study in restraint: quiet resonances, fragile textures, glass-like tones, whispery vocal melodies, and gentle bow noise, close, intimate, human-scale sound that carry emotional weight without overpowering your mix. Quiet beauty behind the emotion of a scene.
Acorn – Vee12
Veevum 12 explored guitar material as texture, atmosphere, and movement rather than traditional performance instruments. VEE12 extracts that language and concentrates on its most rhythmically expressive elements with cinematic effect.
