The Very Loud Indeed Co. have released Omnisphere Mirai, available at the intro price of $21.00, increasing to $35.00 after the promotion.
Omnisphere Mirai is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for Specytasonics’ synthesizer. It includes 128 exclusive sound sources which have been recorded and designed specifically for this soundset. It only uses these new sound sources and does not recycle the stock ones in Omnisphere or any other set.
Mirai is my most “synth-ey” soundset to date, drawing heavily from cyberpunk and retro electronica influences. The main difference when compared to normal synth presets is that it is completely sample-based and doesn’t use the oscillator waveforms from Omnisphere.
Instead, I created a large number of complex wavetables using many other synthesizers, combined them, and then used the resulting samples to create the sound sources for Mirai. This means that each patch is a true hybrid of several very different synths, which gives this collections a unique tonal richness.
Omnisphere Mirai makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, it may completely change the patch into something totally different, so I encourage you to have fun with it.

Omnisphere Mirai requires Omnisphere 2.8 or later.
