Dystopian Waves Release Auren Pro Spectral Delay – For Ableton & Windows VST3

Dystopian Waves have released Auren Pro,  available at the intro price of $8.00, increasing to $20.00 after the promotion. The offer ends March 10th.

Auren is a multi-band spectral delay designed for sound designers, producers, and experimental musicians who want to push the boundaries of time-based effects. Unlike traditional delays, Auren processes the audio spectrum per frequency band, allowing you to sculpt complex textures, evolving echoes, and shifting harmonics with unprecedented precision. It features two independent delay taps with flexible source routing and creative control:

Source Modes:

  • Each delay can use two audio sources (Delay 2 can use up to four sources)
  • Each delay band can use different sources or combinations of sources for advanced spectral layering.
  • Blend or Shuffle: Use blend knobs to crossfade between sources, or use shuffle sequencers to define which source or combination of sources each band uses for dynamic, evolving routing.

Each delay tap includes its own multi-band sequencer, where you can draw custom delay curves, apply randomized patterns, or add smooth movement to delay times and feedback gains. Delay 1 also offers spectral frequency shifting to create lush, dynamic soundscapes. The device also includes a built-in reverb section for adding depth and space. Auren’s intuitive GUI combines global controls, multi-band sequencers, and per-band frequency shifting, giving you precise hands-on control over every aspect of your delays.

Auren Pro is available to Windows users (VST3) and Ableton Live with Max for Live (not included).
