Loc-Ness V3 is an advanced audio processing plugin designed as an “all-in-one smash box,” combining analog-modeled saturation, parallel compression/limiting, and surgical pre/post filtering.
It offers four distinct analog-modeled saturation circuits, controlled by the ‘Crust’ parameter, to add harmonic color ranging from subtle warmth to aggressive overdrive.
The ‘Smash’ control applies a limiter/compressor inspired by vintage broadcast limiters, providing sustain and fattening the sound, with an ‘Autogain’ feature for automatic level compensation.
Loc-Ness V3 features versatile pre and post filters for precise frequency targeting before and after saturation and compression, allowing users to sculpt specific frequency bands.
The plugin supports up to 8x oversampling for clean, alias-free analog character and includes features like A/B comparison, undo/redo history, and over 50 factory presets.
