Impact Soundworks Release Shreddage 3 Electro Sitar

Impact Soundworks have released Shreddage 3 Electro Sitar, available for $149.00.

Shreddage 3 Electro Sitar is a virtual instrument designed to emulate the iconic sound of the electric sitar, popular in psychedelic music from the 1960s and 70s, offering the playability of a six-string guitar.

This instrument features over 31,000 24-bit samples, totaling over 17GB of uncompressed audio, meticulously recorded to capture every nuance of the electric sitar’s unique buzzy tone and resonance.

It includes 6 guitar strings and 15 resonating harp strings, allowing for sympathetic resonance or individual plucking, all recorded with extensive articulations like picked sustains, legatos, staccatos, harmonics, and various effects.

The virtual instrument boasts realistic performances through meticulous sampling, with each string sampled up to the highest fret, featuring up to 4x round robins per note and 3 dynamic layers for authentic sound.

Shreddage 3 Electro Sitar comes with 38 production-ready tone snapshots and the cutting-edge Console FX rack and mixer, offering extensive control over tone shaping with 30 modular effects modules and custom cabinet IRs.

The electric sitar’s distinctive sound is achieved through a unique buzz bridge and resonating harp strings, providing a versatile tool for musicians seeking the classic psychedelic era sound in a familiar guitar interface.
