BLEASS Granulizer

BLEASS Granulizer is a granular texture effect plugin with randomization, 4 multi-bus audio inputs and a mesmerizing 3D visualizer. BLEASS Granulizer generates short samples (‘grains’) from different input signals by modulating different parameters which you can visualize.

The Input Stage allows you to choose between a low-shelf or high-pass filter (to filter out the bass frequencies from input) as well as a gain adjustment.

BLEASS Granulizer takes up to 4 sources from different busses as inputs (compatible DAW required). When multiple busses are on, each grain is randomly extracted from one of the available sources.

The Granulizer generates short samples (‘grains’) from different input signals by modulating different parameters which you can visualize thanks to the 3D Visualizer.

  • Volume
  • Pan (represented by width in the visualizer)
  • Size ( = grain’s duration)
  • Density ( = frequency of grains generation)
  • Offset ( = the amount of time between record and play represented by the depth in the 3D visualizer)
  • Backward/Forward Playback Direction
  • Shape ( = grain’s envelope, represented by the height dimension in the visualizer)
  • Warmth ( = strength of the distortion applied to the grain)
  • Tune ( = grains can be pitched up or down according to different modes: “Fine” / Chromatic / Major / Minor / 5th / Major 7th. / Minor 7th / Octave and other tuning modes such as dim / Dom / Maj 7th Chords)

The amount of randomization can be set with the “dice” knobs. Density, grain size and offset range can be freely synced or beat-synced to the host’s tempo.

BLEASS Arpeggiator

BLEASS Arpeggiator takes the inspirationally melodic power of a classic synth arpeggiator and supercharges it with modern features demanded by today’s musicians. Developed in collaboration with top French producer Canblaster, BLEASS Arpeggiator’s capabilities extend far beyond the clichéd up-and-down monophonic patterns of an old-school synth arpeggiator, with polyrhythms, polyphony, and a large collection of highly configurable arpeggio patterns built in.

The focus of BLEASS Arpeggiator is creativity and experimentation. The plugin’s hands-on user interface is as intuitive and spontaneous to use as a classic subtractive synth, so varying and adapting arpeggios on-the-fly is an easy, fun and organic experience.

The plugin recognises incoming performance controllers, and includes a pair of XY pads (huge fun on iPad!), a pair of advanced LFOs and BLEASS’ signature Motion Sequencer. These can modulate the arpeggiator’s parameters, unlocking a deep level of creativity that’s simply not available from modern step-sequencer-style arpeggiators.

BLEASS Arpeggiator also offers a built-in sound generator. This is a cut-down yet great-sounding FM synth that’s perfect for creating the kinds of bright, sweet and punchy sounds that can work so well with an arpeggio line. You can of course use BLEASS Arpeggiator with any other synth too, with each instance of the plugin creating its own MIDI source that can be bussed to any instrument within your project.

BLEASS Tides

Redefine delay with smooth shifts, 11 effects, stereo modulation, and a crisp touchscreen UI.

BLEASS Tides washes away the dry, uninspiring echoes of conventional delay processors with wave after wave of richly characterful reflections.

The plugin’s fluid approach to delay processing means delay times can be altered without the unpleasant warping results produced by other delay processors, with the option of a controlled tape-like timing shift, or a simple crossfade between differently timed delays.

Better still, with an enhanced modulation system provided by BLEASS’ latest plugin technology, you can take full advantage of this delay time fluidity with stereo LFOs, envelope followers and macro controllers that allow you to explore new horizons of exciting delay effects.

There’s more to creating unique and enthralling delay lines than timing alone, and so BLEASS Tides provides many different ways of shaping and adding character to its repeats.

An input filter combining low- and high-pass resonant bands allows you to easily mould the incoming signal and thereby sculpt the resulting echoes. Then, for even deeper and more exhilarating shaping, Tides’ feedback path features five insert points into which any of 11 different effect processors can be loaded. These include distortions, filters, pitch and frequency shifting, ring modulation, and even an additional delay processor, all of which can be brought to life with the plugin’s stereo modulators.

Tides is the first plugin to use BLEASS’ v2 plugin engine, its reimagined interface design giving a crisp and clean look to the plugin whilst retaining the familiar and welcoming look and feel of previous BLEASS plugins.

The new interface is as easy to use with touchscreens as it is with a mouse, and includes innovative interactive elements such as Tides’ delay visualiser that, when clicked with the mouse or touched with a finger, produces fascinating interactive frequency shifting effects. Further realtime interaction comes in the form of momentary Freeze and Kill buttons that are perfect for creating spontaneous, organic effects, whether on stage, on the go, or in the studio.

BLEASS Tides’ unique approach brings delay processing to new shores with never before heard stereo effects and modulations, extensive tonal shaping, and a user interface that’s both easy on the eye and easy to use.
